Cannot connect

It works as expected. The App is simple, but it works well.

Both this and the replacement order came in damaged boxes and both sets looked used, like VERY used...

Did not work .

I have many floor lamps and devices which I need to control from my phone. These smart plugs work perfectly and get the job done. The only problem I faced is that I have Verizon Fios 5g and 2g networks setup at home and these plugs only work if my phone is on 2g network. But so far this has not been a big problem.

Connected easy. Had plugs set up in minutes. Alexa found them instantly and added them to my devices with no issue. Went to the Alexa app and set them up to my current routine with no problems

The first time I ordered these the box came opened, and while I was a little annoyed it wasn’t worth raising a stink about it. The second time I ordered them they came open again (seal on box broken). So buyer beware, they work but they the condition I’ve received them in isn’t as advertised.

We couldnt get these plugs to stay connected to the app despite updates, reinstalling etc. It would upair and totally remove the device. These were returned within hours of receiving, they were that bad.

They had worked flawlessly since Dec 2019, but when we switched from Xfinity to ATT Wireless this week (May 2022) they could not be reconnected despite following the Teckin procedures. Like other reviewers we used them for Christmas lights and lamps. Downloading the Smart Life app was easy and connecting each smart plug to the network went well. The plugs were recognized by Alexa and their use was well integrated in our home, with schedules for auto on and off.

I bought a four pack of this product from Amazon a year and a half ago and it has worked fantastic up until the last weekend. One of the plugs would turn off and then after about 30 minutes turn back on this one on for about an hour and a half until I decided to check on it. When I grab the plug to unplug it it was so hot it just about burned my hand. I’m just really lucky it didn’t start a fire. The problem is is that this company is no longer with Amazon. They change their name and added the word home to the end of it and now they’re selling this new product. I contacted Amazon and let them know that this is not right and that there should be a recall on these items. I have not heard back from them and I can’t get a cut on contact with a company. Just be careful if you have them in your house because I don’t think it’s covered under your insurance if a fire is caused by . I would love somebody to get in contact with me, but that obviously hasn’t happened yet
