> 24 hourUpdate: the issue causing these to turn off was a wiring issue in my new house (reversed polarity). Now the wiring issue in my house is fixed, the timers are working fine! Phew! I do love that I can control these outlets from my phone remotely! Setup is tedious, so only 4 stars. Previous review: At first, these were great to control my reptiles Heat and lights, I bought 5 of these! After 6 months of use, some of them repeatedly turn off. Everyday, I have to check them (the orange power light is often off) and turn them back on to get them to follow the schedule I set in the app. This defeats the purpose of having them. I will look for a replacement. Unhappy.

> 24 hourEasy to use and the app works great. The instructions need improvement. Theres a Quick Start Guide, but no further instructions. I checked the website and didnt find any instructions there either. It takes a while to figure out the programming/scheduling.

> 24 hourI got this for the sole purpose of being able to monitor the energy use from my new plugin hybrid (a Chevy Volt) since I split the electric bill and didnt want to see a spike without being able to know what my share was. So I found this and currently plug in my 110 level 1 charger. since the charger and the outlet max out at 15 amps it was a prefect match. the app has worked well, it gives a some what slow real time usage meter and a history of how many kwh are used daily over a span of a week, month or year with a bonus of a cost estimator after you enter in how much a kwh costs. Update: still works good, only adding a small complaint. The app monitors the power for the whole unit and doesnt provide data on which outlet used what amount of power

> 24 hourOutdoor Smart Plug, Etekcity Outdoor WiFi Outlet with 2 Sockets. *of note, my outside plugs have individual socket covers that open like a door with the hinges on the left. The door broke off of the top socket so it plugs in great but only if the door on the bottom one is open (see pix). Purchased almost 2 months ago and its been great. When it gets cold out, I keep a heating pad in a little cat house outside to keep them warm but a lot of times I would forget to turn it off before leaving for work in the morning and it was just a waste of electricity. Not only did this allow me to turn it off remotely but thanks to the so far flawless Alexa integration, I didnt even have to get off the couch to turn it on at night!! It took a minute to connect to my wifi bcz my providers new routers dont offer 2.4ghz. Of course I didnt know that before I purchased but after trying a good 10+ times, it connected. I named the individual sockets in the Alexa app and it has never failed me once. Now that its warm out, Ill be plugging in string lights soon!

> 24 hourDoes exactly what we wanted, controls an outdoor bird fountain and this winter, Christmas lights, by voice so if we go to bed and had forgotten to turn them off, just a quick word to Alexa and done

> 24 hourWe purchased one or of these outdoor wifi plugs, along with a wifi extender, for our pool pump, about a year ago, and they have been great. The plug’s app, adds a nice level of functionality allowing us to set a timer to run the pool pump, or not, and check if the outlet is getting power in the event something trips the breaker while we are away. We tried a variety of manual outdoor timers in the past, often with poor results after the fact. We came home after vacation one year only to find a storm had knocked out the power and timer while we were away, and came home to a green pool because the pump had shut down. While away this year, the app provided the piece of mind to keep tabs on the timer and know if the plug was on, from anywhere. I highly recommend this product.

> 24 hourI was going to buy a simple timer for my Air exchanger on the house. I found this device while looking for the timer, and decided to take a leap based on the positive reviews and features. I did have a little trouble connecting to the network, but following the suggestions to move closer with my iPad solved the problem. Connecting to Alexa was so simple. Now all I have to do is ask Alexa to switch on or off the Fresh Air. I used the second plug to switch on my UV sterilizer, more because I have a spare outlet. You can also set up a timer with the software, but for my application with works very well. The unit it slef is very nice quality. Well see how long it holds up, but starting off really well. Definitely recommended.

> 24 hourThis plug is FANTASTIC! No more timers to deal with. (I hated pulling those little pins in and and out.) No more having to go turn off the lights. (Our switch was in the basement.) We just tell Alexa, and because of this smart plug, she takes care of it all. This has been perfect for our Halloween display and I can’t wait to use it for Christmas.

> 24 hourThis Etekcity smart plug fits right in with my other smart plugs around the house indoors, using the VeSync app. Used this remote outdoor double plug for walkway trees on the pathway and lights on the deck. Easy to set up and works just like I need.
