> 24 hourWorks great on everything I’ve plugged in and links up with Alexa well. The app isn’t the best, smart life app works better. Can be somewhat difficult to connect to wifi.

> 24 hourThe plugs work really well and each plug has a light that lights up when there is power to it so you can quickly tell. I really like these plugs and I think they are such good deals at this price point. The instructions lack one major step for setting up with Alexa...in order for Alexa to recognize the plugs, you must first teach it the AvatarControls skill (search for avatarcontrols skill then activate it). Took me more than an hour to figure this one out. The Google Home had absolutely no problem recognizing the plugs once you have set up the Avatar app. In addition, this website says to download the Smart life app while the included instructions tell you to download the Avatar app. The Avatar app works really well.

> 24 hourIt took long time to arrive home and that not a problem. I have several intelligent devices at home including individual plugs, bulbs, Sonos etc. All the devices are easy to install and to check every unit out though Alexa or SmartLife app but not this Smart plug... for some reason I could found them is any way possible.

> 24 hourI am reviewing the DUAL outlet Smart Switch. Pairs easy. Google Home was a breeze. So why 4 stars. Two tiny misconceptions on my part. The power monitoring is for the device not for each outlet. I thought I could put two units in a dual wall outlet, they are too tall to do that. Over all happy with them.

> 24 hourFirst, this device can be installed on the Smart Life app which was a big thing for me. The instructions in the app are far better than the paper in the box. Ill tell you what I needed to do to connect finally. *** I had a bit of a frustrating struggle trying to add device. I followed the instructions, waited out the 2 minute timer only to be told it did not connect. I did this process 7 times before I clicked on the link in the app that says something like If you cant connect or something to that effect and it gave me a couple of things to try and one suggestion worked perfect. *** When Adding Device in app, choose the Wifi Power Strip (I guess 2 outlets are considered a strip). Plug Device in.... wait for lights to come on and do their thing. Hold down the power button on the side for 5 seconds until it shuts off. Then hold down the power button again but for *10 seconds. You want the light to be blinking SLOWLY not flashing... a sloooow blink. OPEN APP, ADD DEVICE Now, with app (phone etc) go into WiFi and your plugs should show up there Connect to the Plug like you would any WiFi and the app will do the rest. *** It went very smoothly once I tried the alternate way. Enjoy!!!

> 24 hourDo not buy these if you want to monitor energy usage. I bought a total of six 2-packs, so I had a total of 12 of these to test. Out of the 12, not one of them was accurate in the energy it monitored. I measured the energy usage of three purely resistive, constant current loads with four of a different brand smart switch, two multimeters, and two plug-in energy monitors. These are very inaccurate. To make matters worse, they are all over the place. Usually the two meters in a 2-pack will be off by the same amount, but one of the 2-packs had meters that were off by different amounts, and in different directions. Possible work arounds are negated by the fact that you are not guaranteed a hardware revision that can be reprogrammed to a different firmware, and the applications, at least for Android, constantly freezer, so paper-and-pen calibration wont work. They worked fine just as smart outlets. However, the lights they use are very bright, and they cannot be turned off without turning off the outlet power. I will only recommend these for people who like the aesthetics of the smart sockets, do not mind bright LEDs or will not be using these where visible, and do not care that the sockets are useless for energy monitoring.

> 24 hourI could not set this up because I have a dual band router and cannot turn off the higher speed, so it does not pair. I had to send it back.
