Some time back after moving into a new house my wife wanted lights above the kitchen cabinets where she displays her blue glass collection. So I installed a Smart Plug and plug a set of Blue Christmas lights into it. Now at sunset the lights come on automatically (thanks to Alexa a scene can be triggered by sunset). Also using the key fob that she has, I configured it so she can turn the lights on and off via her keyfob. The Keyfob can turn the lights on and off even without internet or a yolink Hub. By using direct 2 device Pairing. YoLink is the best!

I can turn it on and off while out of the house. Easy to set up schedules.

3 days after returning window came and gone the unit stopped working Cannot get it connected anymore

I use this Yolink mini plug (with the hub) for some home automation (turning light on/off etc.) Very easy to set up and incorporate with Alexa for routines. I also have a Samsung Smartthings hub that has provided all sorts of difficulties and glitches over the years (and poor lack of range for both zigbee and z-wave.) I was excited to try out the Yolink and so far everything has worked really well. I also have the exterior plugs with which I am very happy that I used for holiday lights via an automated routine in Alexa that corresponds to sunrise / sunset.

Works really well, allows me to shut my aquariums off if the leak. Removed one start for company emailing me to review their item.

I am pleased with all my Yolink purchases. For these plugs I have them set up so they auto turn on and off. I also set them up with Alexa so I can turn them on or off with a verbal command. I plan to buy more.
