Yeah these little rounds outlets are great they connect really quickly no problem loved everything about them were great

I haven’t even had this for a year and the plug stopped working and when you scan the QR code the websites no longer there

These sockets can be used for any number of devices, but Im using them to turn on Christmas decorations including two Christmas Trees, lights on the mantle and various other Christmas decorations with lights. They are easy to connect and with the touch of one button, I can turn them all on or off. Theyre great!

I liked its integration with Google home

Setup works with both the recommended Vaiyi Smart Plug app and the Gosund app. I found I had to use a magnifier to read the 2 point (?) type in the micro-manual. Not really necessary, as either the two mentioned apps will guide you through.

The bad boys works. What else is there to say? It would be nice if the instructions matched what the actual LED pattern the plug makes when connecting, but that’s nit picky.

Won’t connect to the smart life app

Between the difficulty in connecting these devices, having them periodically show as “offline“, and constant app updates which kick devices off the account, I have decided to look for alternatives. I greatly appreciate the ability to automate outlets turning on and off, but half the time automation fails. I have four outlets, and recently two have shown as “offline”, so I attempted to reconnect, and despite having done this way too many times in the past my outlets will not connect no matter what I do. Error messages show up in a foreign language (which I believe to be Mandarin Chinese, though I am not certain). Complaints and questions directed towards the manufactur’s “customer service“ department have all been ignored. Lastly, I find it highly suspicious that the original listing of this device on Amazon.com has been taken down and replaced with this one. Was this to effectively erase all the terrible reviews the other listing had and start fresh? Great concept. Unreliable device. Even worse customer service from manufacturer.

They work really well and were really easy to set up!

I expected these plugs to work more than for one single connection. Hooked them up once with slightly odd instructions. Now they wont connect. I wont buy this junk again. Fail.
