By design the top socket is connected to the wifi/app functionality and bottom socket is not. If you use the bottom socket not connected to the wifi it ruins the wifi link and you have to keep reseting the plug. I have this connected to my living room lamps and it works great. But I cant use the bottom socket or it trips the plug breaker and I have to reset it. Sucks pretty much as I dont have a lot of outlets. Happy to change my review if theres a solution to this!

I have bought several of these outlets and no only do i love the prodcut, the company has outstanding customer support as well if you have questions or need help. Highly reccomend them.

Yolink has great range. Works better than the Geeni I previously had.

Yolink is the best product if you want to have a better smart home. The LoRa technology is 100% better compare to others. I just made a decision to replace all of my smart product in my house with the Yolink.

This item is only rated for lower ampd circuits. They just wont function if you install them on a 20 amp circuit.

Items was larger than expected, not a lot of room for wiring
