I control the temp of my hot tub Old one died and $800 to replace A little work around and like new.

The outlook you plug the heater jnto just quit working and its not even been 60 days. Ugh. So frustrating. It was easy to set up and love the idea of it, but it needs to work!

Used two of them in greenhouse for two winters and one summer. One got broken. Bought a new one because got used to model. The switch on works always on both heaters and fans. But it does not always turn heaters and fans off when the limit temperature is reached and I have to do it manually to prevent overheating. For example, I set low at 67 and high at 82 thinking the heater will turns of after 67 and fan will be of at 82. But the heater may go up to 82 until fan is on and vice versa.

This was a giant disappointment. At first it looks like it will work great. The problem with mine is once it kicks heat or cool on, it doesnt shut off. So what I got was a greenhouse that was 100 degrees (or freezing after cool turns on). The worst part is support, I tried and there doesnt appear to be any. On their web site, no contact.

This temperature unit is so well made the plug ins are solid the cables are thick and the overall unit is very durable. It is awesome that you can connect to Alexa and control an additional heating or cooling device with your voice or when temperatures get to certain levels this is great for terrariums or growing plants. I would highly recommend this setup

Keeps disconnecting from my WiFi

I can say the quality of this product is great. It’s pretty responsive. it works with my Alexa app and dot. I can adjust and monitor the temperatures anytime and anywhere. It has lots of extra features. It can be set the threshold for temperatures and also can control the room temperature if I am out. It controls the temperature by heating or cooling. Of course you will need to have the cooling and heating devices plugged in. I don’t have the heating device hooked up, which is fine for the summer. I set the desired temp to 65F so the a.c. will kick in when the temperature is higher than 65F.

We used this thermostat to control an oil-filled radiator and fan to keep our insulated cattery at a comfortable temperature all year long. The thermostat has done an admirable job keeping temps in the desired range and alerting us when they fall to low (on the coldest days last winter, time to turn the radiator up to high!) or too high (before we got the AC setup). It has been great to be able to remotely check the temperature and tweak it from off-site.

This is a solid and affordable thermostat. We have a fledgling kombucha business and are using an old chest freezer as a refrigerator controlled through this thermostat. It is really great to be able to check the temperature from my phone to see if it is keeping pace with the temperature we are trying to get the recent brew down to. We are just using the cooling side of the thermostat but we are very happy with how it works. I also like how the temperature sensor it removable. It is handy in case you need to fit the wire through a hole. It works pretty easy setup was easy no need for instructions, connection to the app easy. I dont have any lab grade gear to attest to the accuracy so they get a pass on that. I take down 1 star for Temp control and ease of use because of the fact it beeps at you non stop until you press a button any time you remove power. For my personal use case this is fairly often and so thats annoying. Also I bought this one because it works with the smartlife app which works with Alexa, however be aware you cant set or retrieve temp via Alexa. I use this as a secondary temp controller to act like a watch dog for my primary temp controller. I use it to control a heater inside a 3d printer enclosure, I had my primary controller freeze in the on state which had my every metal surface in my enclosure around 90 Celsius; so I now run two so the power gets cut in an over temp situation.
