Greater than one weekI received this product sample in my Ipsy bag last month. I love it so much, I had to purchase a full size bottle. My skin is not oily at the end of the day. My mineral liquid foundation seems to go farther, meaning I use less and my pores (older skin) seem smaller. All in all, my first experience with Smashbox is a great one. I will be trying more of their products.

Greater than one weekI like it but not in love with it. Works great and feels so smooth and silky....But for some reason it make my t-zone get extra oily. I’ve tried translucent powders etc but it’s just something the keeps reoccurring. Honestly, I see the same as I would using NYX primer.

Greater than one weekSince first using a primer I have been unable to go back, and this Smashbox Photo Finish primer is probably my favorite. I tried a sample and fell in love with the silky texture, totally not greasy, which provides a thin veil over the skin to make foundation glide on smoothly. It helps concealer not to crease under eyes during the day, and it makes foundation and blush appear much more even and almost air-brushed compared to not using it. I use a powder foundation applied with a kabuki brush, and it goes on much better with this primer than on bare skin. Some primers tend to feel greasy or take a while to set, but not Smashbox. I highly recommend it!

> 3 dayThis product is not at all like the one I bought at Macys nor is it like the last one I bought on Amazon. Its supposed to be gel like. Instead this pours out like water and doesnt work at all like the original product. Is this a counterfeit substitute? Im very upset as I bought one as a gift. Please respond and tell me how you intend to make this right.

> 3 dayA lot of people have raved about this product and although I like it a lot, I dont find it to be as miraculous as everyone else. It doesnt cake and does do a decent enough job of mattifying and blurring imperfections, but I find it average. I also have the NYX one and for a third of the price, I feel its a better value. However, NYX doesnt last as long and if you apply too much, it can flake. Overall, I just feel like $30+ for a tiny bottle of primer should have a little more wow factor and staying power. Im still looking for the perfect primer, let me know if any of you have found it.

> 3 dayI honestly wanted to love this stuff. Ive been seeing the product in my local Ulta for years, wanting so badly to try it on my terribly oily, poorly textured skin. Everyone seems to recommend it, said Id love it and it would change my make-up loving life forever. I put off purchasing it all these years because its so expensive...and I knew that even if I loved it, I cant see myself committing to pay that much on a regular basis every time it ran out. But, I finally broke down and purchased it on Amazon since I have Amazon Prime. And uh...yeah, I dont get it. I mean, sure, it makes my face FEEL good...but as far as the aesthetics of it...its just not there for me. It doesnt keep my make-up on any longer than any other primer...in fact, I dont think this keeps it on nearly as long as E.L.Fs $5 primer for me. It doesnt mask my pores any more than anything else either. So, for the price, theres no way I can give this any more than just 3 stars. Sorry, make-up fanatics...its not for everyone after all.

Greater than one weekI accidentally bought this instead of the eye shadow base, and Im really glad I did, because it works great around the eye. I put a tiny dab on my finger and thats enough for both eye brows, lids and under eye areas. Im older and my skin isnt tight around my eyes any more and have been experiencing problems with eyeliner pencils and shadows going on unevenly. This product feels soft and smooth on the skin (like silicone), and make up glides on without caking. I hardly ever wear foundation, but I do wear blush powder, so I used some on my cheek area and that went on smoothly, too- and it stayed on all night. Also, my eye brow shadow doesnt usually last long at all- but it stayed on beautifully, too. I have hyper-sensitive skin, and many products cause my skin to get hot and turn bright red. Photo Finish did not cause any ill effects,at all. Im sold!!

> 3 daySmashbox primer always receives high marks on competitor sites that sell it for much more so I had to try it and with free delivery, the price was right. It sets a nice canvas for makeup by smoothing over pores. I use this with my bare minerals powder makeup and it works great.

> 3 dayI have been using this product for several years. It helps my makeup go on more smoothly and last longer . I have learned it works better when I wait ten minutes or so after applying it before I apply my makeup. The makeup seems to last longer. I have tried less expensive primers, but even though this is expensive I feel it is worth it.

> 3 dayIt’s a great base for foundation. It makes your skin feel satiny.
