Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer for Women, Transparent, , 1 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)

A lot of people have raved about this product and although I like it a lot, I dont find it to be as miraculous as everyone else. It doesnt cake and does do a decent enough job of mattifying and blurring imperfections, but I find it average. I also have the NYX one and for a third of the price, I feel its a better value. However, NYX doesnt last as long and if you apply too much, it can flake. Overall, I just feel like $30+ for a tiny bottle of primer should have a little more wow factor and staying power. Im still looking for the perfect primer, let me know if any of you have found it.

great base for makeup

I accidentally bought this instead of the eye shadow base, and Im really glad I did, because it works great around the eye. I put a tiny dab on my finger and thats enough for both eye brows, lids and under eye areas. Im older and my skin isnt tight around my eyes any more and have been experiencing problems with eyeliner pencils and shadows going on unevenly. This product feels soft and smooth on the skin (like silicone), and make up glides on without caking. I hardly ever wear foundation, but I do wear blush powder, so I used some on my cheek area and that went on smoothly, too- and it stayed on all night. Also, my eye brow shadow doesnt usually last long at all- but it stayed on beautifully, too. I have hyper-sensitive skin, and many products cause my skin to get hot and turn bright red. Photo Finish did not cause any ill effects,at all. Im sold!!

This is the best foundation primer on the market. Apply it right before using your liquid foundation, let it sit a few seconds then apply your foundation as usual. It makes your skin feel soft and it allows your makeup to go on smoothly without clumping into wrinkles etc. Makes my face look smooth and flawless. Love the natural, not caked on look of my makeup.

Without a doubt, this is the best primer on the market. I have tried so many and NONE are as good as this one. It smooths your skin and makes it so much easier for foundation to stay put. Im buying more to give as gifts to friends.

I love what primer does and this product works fine. I have tried a few different ones trying to find what is best for me. This one goes on nicely, but I seem to need more for the same effect of a similar product. (Radiance) It may have more to do with skin type, mine is combination.

Primer goes on very smooth and last forever, never go without it again.

Originally, when I got this product, I was really worried because it was much thinner than previous bottles that I had used. However, I shook it really good for a couple of minutes and tried it again and it was good as every time I had previously used it! I had never used a foundation primer prior to getting a sample of this product several months ago....never again will I wear foundation without this! Great price that beats everywhere else I have looked for this product!

This product came recommended. I found it to just be okay. It is light weight which I liked. But I found that my foundation would look a little streaked. Is just use it when I wasnt going to apply foundation to give more of a smoother look.

I am light skinned but I have redness on my face and this is the best product to get rid of the red skin tones. works well with any foundation, liquid or cream. it sounds expensive but this one tube lasts a long time.. you do not need much product at all. I tried other brands but came back to this...
