The alignment bump allows only one poistion, however a slight change in the design and two distances from the wall could have been achieved. The bracket does allow multiple angles of mounting.

Way cheaper than others for the same product. Purchased for my Zowietek PTZ cameras since they only came with wall mounts. Works great and will purchase more as I expend my cameras.

The mounting bracket is built out of decently thick material. However, it is only flat sheet metal bent into a 90 degree bend. The camera mounts at the long end of a flat metal plate that is attached to the wall. Because there is no crimps, angled legs, or sides to the leg that holds the camera, the mount acts like a tuning fork when any vibration is transmitted from the wall. That vibration makes the bracket vibrate up and down and since the there is no dampening, a short bump on the wall will lead to the camera vibrating for a longer time. This shows up in the camera image. Aside from that, the mount has a raised nubbin to fit in cameras alignment hole, and a hole for the included screw to fit into the cameras tripod mounting hole. There are 3 other holes that screw into the SMTAV PTZ camera for additional attachment points. There are two holes cut into the plate for cables to pass through. The length of the camera mounting leg is enough for cables to be attached on the back of a PTZ camera without much difficulty. The mounting portion consists of 4 screw holes only. This is adequate, but because the holes are not slotted, they do not allow any adjustment at all of the mount after it is screwed in. So if your pilot holes and screws end up slightly out of level, there is no way to adjust the mount to level. You might think, well, just install it level then... but in my case level on the mount did not mean visually level when the camera was pointed at the stage opposite the camera mount. Its very hard to shift the screw hole by a millimeter, so it would have been better to have a couple of the holes be slotted to allow adjustment after mounting. Conclusion: it does the job of holding a camera on a wall, but could be improved to reduce vibration and allow adjustment after mounting.
