> 24 hourWe have 4 cats and have been through a number of scoops. This one actually seems to work with the aluminum non-stick feature. My previous scoops have caught a thick layer of gross litter after a week of use and require frequent cleaning, but Ive used this for 2+ weeks and it has maintained its shiny aluminum exterior, with the exception of the bottom part that is caked with some stuff because it comes into contact with cat pee/poo all the time. Its not any bigger than the scoops Ive had before and the actual scoop part may even be smaller than my previous one from Chewy, but I would sacrifice size for function for sure.

> 24 hourI got this because the old plastic one snapped in half, and I was looking for something a little sturdier. This is definitely that, but it is a little awkward to maneuver in a regular sized litter box because its a lot bigger than I expected it to be. At least I dont have to worry about this one breaking!

> 24 hourI guess I’ve been on the cheap or didn’t know about steel ones but I’ve been using plastic litter box cleaners. This is a game changer this thing is awesome and has changed my hate for cleaning the litter. I still hate it but, this makes it so much better definitely invest and it’s not a big investment do not use the plastic ones this thing is off

> 24 hourIf you have senior cats, you know they drink massive quantities of water and then need to eliminate said water, likely in a litter pan. Both of our senior cats have medical issues (one being diabetic) so the water intake and elimination is exacerbated further. I finally upgraded to this scooper, and it is worth every penny (its not even expensive). It does a great job shoveling out the truly unbelievable quantities of pee my cats are capable of producing. Often the litter is so saturated it was difficult to remove with a decent sized and heft plastic scoop without it beginning to buckle under the weight. The litter would also get stuck in the gratings and require repeated banging or scraping against the side of the litter pan to get it off. This scooper handles the wet urine patties much better - a little still gets stuck when navigating some of the biggest clumps but they are huge so this is to be expected - but the litter comes out much more easily. Also it is such a generous scoop that you can take out giant clumps in full without them breaking up and spilling the urine-saturated litter back into the pan you are trying to clean. I browsed several models before settling on this one and liked that this model is smooth-edged vs with teeth at the end which I think would just cause the wet litter to cling to and scratch the pan itself. The only cons for this scoop for me are that it is a bit hard on the wrist because its heavy and Im using it to scoop heavy piles of wet litter but its worth the sacrifice to actually have a scooper that can manage my cats truly astounding boulders of pee. P.S. It works just fine on the poop too.

> 24 hourI love that it picks up alot of waste at once but I wish the holes were smaller to pick up the little pieces of waste in the litterbox.

> 24 hourNot the cheap junk you sometimes buy. This is actual metal material and it goes all the way to the end of the handle, unlike the last one I bought and then broke. I think this one will last for years.

> 24 hourThree cats can put out a lot of poop. The last thing I need is a flimsy floppy poop scoop. This is the best scooper Ive ever bought. Its extremely sturdy and worth the price. For years, I used the dollar store scoopers and if you have cats, you can imagine that awful feeling of the scooper being too flimsy to pick up the poop. Its going to go somewhere! Too many times of losing the scoop to the floor or (better) back into the litter box drove me to spend some real money and buy this scooper. Like I said, well worth the extra cost. Its still scooping over a year later with no sign of wear and tear. Ill be buying another one soon.

> 24 hourThis scooper is the BEST that I have ever used, in my 60+ years of owning multiple cats. Makes the task simple and fast with an excellent grip handle for those with arthritis.

> 24 hourIve been using this scoop for several years, and have also bought it for other people. Its so much better than a plastic scoop. This thing basically doesnt wear out, it has a nice heft, the handle is comfortable, and the size is ideal for getting a good scoop. The size and placement of the holes is very effective at separating out the unclumped litter from the clumped. Its easy to clean. Its affordable. No complaints. 10/10.
