> 24 hourWhen I received the package with the fairy lights, the contents were a mess. The plastic container had opened and all the lights were loose at the bottom of the box. I tried out one of the light strings to see if it still worked and it was fine. However, since you have to remove a plastic tab before using the lights for the first time, I did not check out the other strings. I’ll just keep my fingers crossed until Christmas when I plan to use them. The string of lights that I did check out, worked fine. All mini lights on the string lit up with a warm white light (my personal preference). The wire is not overly noticeable and the battery case is small which makes it easier to hide. To be honest, I wish they had a timer and lasted longer than the stated 48 hours like other light strings I have. However, the other lights have a much larger battery case (4 AAA batteries) and cost significantly more. I think these lights are fine, especially for the price.
