This soldering mat is thick enough to protect the surface under it from damage if we are soldering and out iron rests on the mat. It has got 8 compartments along the edges, so we can organize the items while disassembling things. And these compartments are perfect for keeping the screws and small electronics parts in place. And this mat rolls up nicely for storage and it is easy to clean as well

This is a small pad - not very much workspace; but that said, did what I needed it for. If youre a hobbiest looking for a small silicone pad for soldering or other hot work, this may just be the one youre looking for.

Its a nice matt for soldering.

I bought this as a work mat for my tinkering and it works great to hold screws and parts. Keeps your materials very neat and organized. The rubber is great at preventing roll aways. It does collect a lot of debris and dust which is hard to clean unless I clean it thoroughly. That part is annoying. Im most likely going to replace this but for now its doing what I wanted. Keep screws from going anywhere.

Very nice work mat for soldering and general craft work. The multiple spaces for small screws and parts really comes in handy. Easy to clean and stays where I put it on my bench. A quality item that looks to last a very long time. Thanks!

I cant see a lot of room for improvement in this. Its a fairly simple thing to begin with, so there wasnt a lot of room for it to be necessarily better than the others like it, but there is also no room to complain. It holds things well, is soft enough that I dont worry about scratching, and the little separate bits to hold screws work out quite conveniently indeed. Ive done several repairs using this and havent had any screws lost or anything scratch or break. Definitely much better than the plain wooden surface I was working on. I cant say this one is necessarily better than the others like it, but I can say that if its the correct size and shape for your needs you cant really go wrong with it either.

Works well for wood burning projects which is what it’s used for. Would have liked to have an option for brighter colors.
