> 3 daySo for 40 or 50 years I have done my soldering on a piece of 1 x 12 board. I saw these mats and thought I would give them a try. What a world of difference. They are easy to use, protect the surface under them, and are super easy to clean. They come in a foil non static pouch and I store mine in it.

> 3 dayWorks as promised. Thick and functional. Smelled a little odd originally but nothing overpowering.

> 3 dayI cant say enough about how much I love this mat. The little molded compartments for components helped me reclaim a lot of bench space. Great heat resistance. I solder on this mat constantly and it never burns or bubbles. The color makes it easy to spot dropped components. It cleans up easily. Its just a great product.

Greater than one weekOverall I believe this is a good product. It has plenty of pockets up top to hold electronic components. It seems to be heat resistant to setting the iron down on it and has not scorched at all. Only negative is that its thin, so if you have any shaking or motion on the worksurface the thing will slide around a bit. Could maybe using a textured backing to give it more grip on uneven work surfaces.

> 3 dayThis thing is great. Solder doesnt stick to it, doesnt seem to even affect it. Rosin cleans right off. The little separators are perfect for holding components to keep them organized & from getting in your way. I just wish I could get one twice the size for the big projects!

Greater than one weekUsed one time with small wood burner and this happened. I thought it said heat resistant but I guess I misunderstood.
