> 3 dayIf youre using these for entertainment purposes at all, the ATH-M40x are significantly better in terms of sound and cheaper to boot. As for monitoring, youll be able to hear more detailed sound with the ATH-M40x. In addition the ATH-M40x have detachable cables. Trust me, Ive demoed both sets extensively and tried pretty hard to like the 7506s, the Audio Technicas are still the best sounding, most reliable headphones Ive owned.

> 3 dayFor the price, this cannot be beaten. Does not look like a hyper-space headset like alot of headsets on the market (especially gamers headsets), but instead like a 90s headset. Dont let that fool you. Sound is crisp, extremely well calibrated and they can take a lot of punishment. A+ !

> 3 dayThese headphones have been around for a long time. I used them for recording music due to their exceptional frequency range. Over the 20 years or so since I started buying these, I accidentally sat on one, and the pair just previous to these had the earpieces falling off and the 1/4 inch jack broke off because Id been using it so much.
