Great mats. Yes, there is an initial smell while pressing, but it goes away after some use. They generally stay in place, but do move. Would love to know of some heat resistant glue to tack it down permanently. But it’s a really nice replacement mat. It’s definitely durable. May be a little thicker than my original mat, which is a good thing. Less likely to tear.
