Very stable and attractive.

I bought the first one for the office for a 15inch laptop. It raises the screen to form a nice array with two other screens, allowing the eyes to jump from screen to screen. Added benefit is more desk space. Then I bought another one for home for a 17inch MSI gaming laptop in conjunction with one screen. It keeps the laptop cooler, I have more desk space and it is easier to jump from screen to screen. It holds the 17inch screen well.

The item was delivered quickly. It was super easy to assemble, and I only realized the instructions on the back side of the box as I was throwing it away. The only tool required for the assembly was included, and there were 2 additional screws (for back up?). The stand has shiny silver metal look, and it looks sharp and professional. There is a big gap in the middle that keeps the laptop cool; pads on the top to keep the laptop in place and avoid scratching it; pads on the bottom to keep the assembly from sliding. I have no complaint.

The laptop stand functions as one would expect. Its pretty sturdy, the material its made of appears to be of good quality for its use. I have a large 17 laptop and it supports it very well. As far as ergonomics, Im not sure. Im a touch pad user mostly. A two finger type person. I do not spend hours typing so I could not vouch for the ergonomics. But I do not see any indication that it would be unsteady for a typist.

So, I was going to buy a slightly more expensive model with a curve, but the had an adjustable feature that I liked. Some adjustable features on other models are not as sturdy, but this one is great. There was a coupon to save a few bucks if you got the silver model, but I wanted black. The silver Im sure would have been excellent as ell. It is perfect for my new 14.2 MacBook Pro. Recommended.

I use the built-in laptop camera, and the level is always too low. So, I stack books or get a small box, but I still cant get the level right. This was on lightning deal and I paid just over $20 for it. It arrived in less than 24 hours. It came disassembled, but I only needed to screw 4 screws total plus they provided the little wrench thingy needed. 1,2,3... et voila! It has room for the little things under it. It adjusts up and down (relatively) smoothly, and the height is now perfect!! What a great deal, plus the computer now has circulation of air and that helps overheating. Thrilled with this!

Although I like the stand it is not tall enough for me to stand and work.

I’m using this to elevate the laptop off the my desk give me more desk space, as well as to get a better camera angle. It does both nicely. While I don’t use it for actual keyboard use, it does feel sturdy enough for that task. I also like the adjustable height.
