> 3 daygood tool for the money the tone is kind of weak compared to some others but it gets the job done while leaving you money to buy more tools also the tone probe and accessories are kept together in a good solid holder.

> 3 dayThis is a great little piece of kit. The only thing that i have say in a negative way,is the fact that the cables supplied with the device are not the best quality and have a tendency to fall out of location, but that said,it’s a real time saver.

> 3 dayProduct works and the convenience of the package is awesome. I dont carry it too often and feel the clip might break if you use it too often. I could be wrong. Good product, Im satisfied, it works as well as the 90$ toners and I can fit the whole thing on my belt when I need it.

> 3 dayJust like the other reviewer, I purchased this from Lowes. I returned the first one since one of the unit would not turn ON. The second one that I bought had the other unit not powering up. Good thing was I tested it at Lowes parking lot. So I was frustrated and was going to return the second one as well. But as I was removing the batteries to return the second one, I noticed the problem was the battery connectors. The diagram shows that the user is supposed to put the batteries in criss-cross, so that batteries are in series circuit even though they are side-by-side. This is what I did. The problem is, even though the batteries go in criss-cross, the spring connectors for the batteries negative connectors are on the same side! Meaning one is being used for the batteries positive end (the nipple one). Since the batteries are AAA, the positive nipple part goes in the middle of the spring and does not make contact with the battery.... unless your batterys top/positive end has exposed connector across the top. This is true for the pair of panasonic I had, but not the rechargeable eneloop batteries. This means the ones I had a pair of eneloop batteries was not turning on because the spring was not making contact with the battery. I swapped the batteries and saw the one I thought was broken turn ON. I decided to keep it since I really need it for the new house with coax and cat5 connectors that are not labeled. I put it away for a couple of months and when I used it again, one of the battery spring came off. This is because there is no way to take out the inner battery without hitting the spring for the outer battery, so the spring for the outer battery came off. TLDR: Very expensive for a unit with really bad design.

> 3 dayI like the flexibility and attachments. Its just not strong enough. Especially on smaller wire like CAT wire. Its hard to hear at construction sites where there is a lot of noise. I dont think it would ever drive a speaker (a common test procedure in the AV industry). When you snap in the RJ11 the release is mostly covered so you have to use a finger nail to release it. Not a huge deal but odd they didnt turn the connector 180 degrees to make it easier to release.

> 3 dayI love the case and everything about this set! All the components fit together into a nice little belt-clipped case. Its very portable, and fits down into a backpack or toolbag with no issues. Im a little concerned about the longevity of the fairly thin adapters, so I might put some extra heat-shrink and hot glue over them for added rigidity. Other than that, its a fantastic set. Ive had multiple coworkers marvel over how compact it is!
