This is the best mapper Ive ever owned. Ive tried them all and found myself repeatedly buying more mappers every year. The one that seemed to most popular was the simple $20* Jonard. The problem with that piece of junk is the batteries dont last a year and eventually you just have to buy a new one because they didnt make it replaceable. This mapper is the answer to that piece of crap. This has equality feel to it with an almost velvet like a grip and a soft button, unlike the Jonard that you have to press very hard and the button itself will hurt your thumb after repeated usage. best of all, you can replace the batteries on this thing over and over.

For the price, you cant beat this toner. Im a field tech for a major cable provider and use this almost daily. It works great. If I had any complaint, it would be that it doesnt take standard AA or AAA batteries so replacing them might be more difficult.

This is a nice coax cable tester. Its four terminators make it easy to trace/locate the right cables. I deducted a star for one reason - it is very hard to see which way to put the batteries in, and if you put them in backwards, (I did) you will short the batteries, and they will get _really_ hot. The markings should be easier to read, and there should be reverse voltage protection. Still, once you get the batteries in correctly, its a very useful tool. Just be very careful putting the batteries in.

This product worked great. I would only suggest the manufacturer avoid using watch batteries to power the unit. It takes 4 watch batteries to power the unit. This will be costly to replace over time.

Working as a field technician, I always complete work faster by installing multiple lines at once. If your company doesnt provide it, this tool does great. Lights are clear and easy to use. I never go out in the field without it.

Time saver if you are dealing with old coax or multiple coax instalations. Well made, but you have to keep the two parts together in your tool kit.

It worked the first time I used it and then would not work when I tried to use it again.
