Let me be clear, if you’re not looking to make art on your iPad Pro then this is a great screen protector! I would rate it 5 stars if I didn’t work as an illustrator. I’m in the minority of artists who love drawing on a smooth glass screen. I wish to the deepest part of me that I could find a tempered glass screen protector to use that doesn’t effect my strokes, but I have had no luck still. I’m not comfortable with drawing directly on the unprotected screen either, so I’ve switched to using a matte screen protector for the time being. Pros: It’s a glass screen protector! Solid protection. Some people don’t like the smooth glass feel of it but I love it, so it’s a pro for me. Installation for glass screen protectors is always so much easier compared to flimsy ones in my opinion. CONS: The small increase of distance between the surface of the screen and Apple Pencil is enough to cause sensor errors that create a “wobble” effect. It may not bother some, but to me it is enough to not use the protector. I would include pictures if I had forethought but as soon as I tested it after application I ripped it off without second thought. You can find videos on this “wobble” effect if you’re curious in how it effects pen strokes. For daily note taking and such, I would say go for it! It’s not enough to mess up your notes, but it is certainly enough to mess up your pen strokes when trying to do lineart on a piece. I may just end up selling my kidney to afford every glass screen protector on the market in hopes that I can one day find the perfect one that doesn’t affect my drawing.

Bought a new 12.9 inch iPad Pro and this to protect the screen, works great!

This was really easy to put on and it works great with my Apple Pencil. It does seem to grab on a bit to dirt and dust but other than that it’s keeping my screen clean and protected so there’s no problem.

Went on like a dream… air bubbles worked themselves out in seconds without me doing anything.

Edit: I have used this company in the past for my smaller devices and will do so in the future. The seller graciously offered a full refund which I will accept. If the company develops and includes a frame into which the protective screen can be placed, I will certainly purchase this protector again. Because they stood behind their product, it is only fair to adjust the rating somewhat. The glass itself is top of the line. The installation lacks a plastic frame to enhance placement on the device. Despite the video, those little sticky hinge labels do not work well on the 12.9 in screen. In fact they are useless. You are better off trying to place it by eyesight and hand. But that has its own set of problems. Broke the first screen protector when the hinge protectors failed. The second screen barely went on ok, but the hinges separated from the device. Had to use eyesight and best judgment, but ended up slight askew and with bubbles. Ordered another product with appropriate installation frame. Looking forward to receiving it and getting rid of this screen. I gave it a three only because the glass is well made with a good feel. 2.5 stars might have been a better option. MJM

I’ve had my 2018 iPad Pro 12.9 for about 8 months. I tried a glass screen protector I bought at Best Buy. That was a disaster, no touch sensitivity at all. I couldn’t find a glass protector that worked so I used a film protector instead. I use it on a construction site and needed something to prevent scratches. The film worked for that purpose, but it was pretty soft and scratched easily. I looked the other day to see if any glass screens had enough reviews on touch sensitivity and gave this one a shot. It came in the mail today and I got right to it. Any screen protector is hard to put on and keep dust free and a 12.9 inch screen is wayyy harder. You just have to take your time and prep your work space and screen to do it. 1. Turn off any fans, air conditioning or heating systems. Let things settle a bit. 2. Work on a hard surface and clean a spot 4-5 times larger than your screen. . I used a can of compressed air to spray dust off the area. Short, quick blasts. Then spray screen cleaner, wipe dry and air again. Let things settle. 3. Have GOOD lighting positioned so you can see any dust on the screen. 4. I used 2” wide clear packing tape as a sticky cleaner cut the length of the screen + a few inches. Dap across the screen overlapping as you go.O 5. DO NOT PROCEED UNTIL YOURE SURE THERE IS NO DUST ON THE SCREEN. 6. Have the frame ready and get it into place quickly. Double check for dust. Dab as needed. 7. Peel back about an inch of the film and position the screen starting at the notch and camera. I had someone hold the rear of the protector as I pulled the film back SLOWLY. The faster you pull the more static you create. As the film is being pulled allow the protector to drop to the screen. Keep the gap between what’s going on the screen and film as small as possible to keep dust out. The frame fit to protector is not perfect, but once you’re about halfway across the screen it’s lined up and I moved it out of the way. I got lucky and didn’t have a single piece of dust. But I didn’t start the protector installation until I was 100% sure there wasn’t a spec of dust on the screen. Once I started I kept the gap between protector and screen as small as possible and pulled the film slowly. It’s not an easy install, but that’s not the products fault, it’s the nature of a screen this big. I use the apple pen ALL day at work and I was relieved when I tested it with this protector. It’s flawless! Same with touch sensitivity. I highly recommend this product for retaining touch screen and apple pen sensitivity! The dust free install is on you.

A previous purchased version of this screen protector was installedon on my wife’s iPad Pro 12.9. Her screen appeared to be significantly cracked in the middle and the edge. Turned out that it was only the screen protector that was damaged. Hence the purchase again of this screen protector. As the screen is so large placing it correctly on the screen can be difficult to align properly. Slightly pulling the screen away from the iPad Pro allowed it to be re-seated and aligned. There were a few bubbles after re-seating that can be “massaged” out. The originator protector protected the iPad Pro before allowing us to avoid repairing or replacing the iPad Pro.

It comes with these stickers guides to help align the screen protector. The guides made lining it up a lot easier than I thought it would be. The bubbles were bit tricky but it went on and smoothed out after lifting the edge a couple times. Works great.
