This soap is excellent! I use it just as it is listed: for brushes and for my hands, and it works beautifully. It cleans my brushes and my hands. Ive been storing the bar in its box since I got it, and the box and soap are still in fine shape. I recommended this soap to a painter friend of mine just the other day. First, the box of soap is little. Not too little through Im sure with occasional cleaning it will last about 2 years. I used this to clean my professional watercolor brushes. It worked on getting stains and excess paint out. Left my brushes feeling soft and shaped. I even took it a step further and washed a brush where the brush hair was frayed. The round brush hairs reshaped when I used this soap on it. Thanks, blick art materials for the great brush soap.
