> 3 dayBaren is useful when using hand carved stamps, the bigger the more useful it becomes. All surfaces make contact and resulting image is clear and evenly printed. I wasnt sure I needed it but, since using it for several weeks, I wish I.had purchased it earlier.

> 3 dayRequires a firm work space to handle the pressure you need to apply to get a good impring. At home on my workbench worked better ina in the park on a portable folding table.

> 3 dayI have been printing and hand-burnishing since forever and when I came across this item, i thought Id give it a try. It did not fail me. much easier to use then wooden barens or wooden spoons - trust me Ive used all sorts of them . The underbed cushion helps transfer the impression with precision and details. Ill get more of this for personal stock.

> 3 dayI use this baren for relief printing, it picks up all of the design well. I find it user friendly and light. It delivers reliable results. Would recommend, a good tool for printing from lino and wood.

> 3 daySo much better than just using your hands for block printing! I believe the Japanese invented this particular tool. It works well to apply even pressure to the back of the paper, while retaining sensitivity to how hard you are pressing.

> 3 dayLove this tool, it takes the pressure off my wrist & arthritic hand and allows me to get a terrific print, its excellent to get ghost prints too....really pulls the paint up.
