> 3 daySpeedball products are amazing. Buuutt, this is how I received this from Amazon...a sticky, half dried mess in a bag. Save yourself the trouble.

> 3 dayI have fabric printed with a lot of medium. I decided to use this for a recent project because I wanted something that would produce sharp lines without heat setting How we my blocks have wide stars and hands. I don’t think this worked well with woodblocks. It is very sticky. If you roll it on the stamp like you would use acrylic it looks faded. If you put enough on to get a dark print it leaves peaks/waves in the wider areas of the print. If the blocks were thin line I think this would have been okay. Also it sticks to everything so well you don’t realize it got on your hand until it is too late. It says it dries quickly but it was still really tacky after 72 hours. I emailed the speedball customer service but they kept telling me, it dries overnight and never responded to my reply on why it was sticky 72 hours later. Back to much cheaper options that create better results. Heat setting is just easier.

> 3 dayI am so very pleased with this block ink. I purchased it to use with my hand carved stamps on fabric. I squeezed a little of the ink onto a piece of glass from an old 8 x 10 frame and spread it out with a rubber brayer roller to even out the ink before stamping. The finished product looks AMAZING. The clean up was super easy. I just used some water and dish soap. It doesnt even stain your hands! Anyways, I highly recommend this product.

> 3 dayI love this stuff! It dries well after about 5 hours, but with a full 24 hour cure, Ive seen this ink hold up well on printed items that get battered, beaten and tossed in the wash a hundred times. The color looks great after numerous washes and even my longest-used kitchen towels look great! Super pleased with this product, Speedball. Make more colors! And bigger tubes!

Greater than one weekI used this ink in conjunction with the Speedball Premium Mounted Linoleum Block (4313). The ink was a bit thinner than I had expected, but I suspect thats more a matter of my inexperience, rather than a product defect. I was very satisfied with the prints I achieved. Even printing on fabric and with shallow features on the block, this ink maintained a very good level of detail. Moreover, I was able to pull over 25 prints from a 6x7 image, and still have at least 3/4 of the bottle left. One caveat (and the reason this is four stars, not five): there is a very strong odor when using this product. Im not sure if thats the case with all block printing inks, but the chemical smell was very strong. However, I did not get lightheaded (even though my workspace was poorly ventilated) and my roommate (who has strong chemical sensitivities) didnt experience any difficulties. The odor faded quickly, though it was still detectable 48 hours later (but not overpowering). Overall, I would recommend this product. Unless I come across a comparable option advertised as low odor, I will buy this same product again in the future.
