I am a swim instructor and coach. I teach kids aged 3 to 6, coach 11- 14, and in my family have kids 5 - 13. I am a huge fan of Speedo goggles, and normally recommend their skoogles for the younger swimmers around ages 3 and 4. The fit is perfect, they are easily adjusted, and come in fun colors. I have used the many different styles of Speedo goggles but this is my first time using this Sunny G style. First of all, these are described as sunglasses style goggles but the actual fit is fit on the outside of the eye cavity. That is by far the most popular fit for younger swimmers. They do have a frame on the front to give a sunglasses look which the younger non-competitive swimmers love. These are not adjustable across the bridge of the nose so it will depends on the width of your face how well they fit. I tried them on a 3, 5 and 6 year old kid. These fit all three ages very nicely. There is a strange gap on the outside of the eye piece. I think the length/width/extra flap is what allow them to fit different faces without leaking. The packaging is labeled up to age 8, I think these are not wide enough for an 8 year old unless they have a very narrow face but due to the shelter in place I didnt have an 8 year old to try them on. The listing is 3-6 and I think that is a better age range. These goggles have uv protection and a slight grey tint. The tint is good for outdoors but not too dark to also be used inside. The best thing about these goggles? They have the bungee cord strap that the competitive swimmers use. I LOVE those and to the point that I replace them on all my kids and suggest it to all swimmers. The cord doesnt pull hair, is easily adjustable and comfortable, and holds up better than the plastic straps. I love that they are included with these goggles and arent an additional cost for me. This would cause me to recommend them over the skoggles that were my usual go-to. I would be remiss if I didnt tell any swimmer that they should have their kid swim with and without goggles. Goggles are a great tool, but I have had swimmers that panic when they are in the water without goggles. For safety it is important that they are the reason they can swim, not the goggles, and that they arent afraid to save themselves if they fall in without goggles.

My small 7 year old loves them. She says they are comfortable and don’t leak. Best part is they don’t rip out her thick hair.

My 3 year old loves them and he doesn’t complain about them being too tight or water leaking in, like with other brands we’ve tried. This is the best photo I have since now he’s constantly jumping in and swimming underwater!

You need these for your kids!!! My kids HATE standard goggles because they are uncomfortable and the silicone band gets caught in their hair and pulls it. This bungee cord option is perfect. What took so long to come up with it?!

Separate bands constantly tangle and pull hair. My daughter was spending more time trying to fix these and pulling out her hair then actually swimming!
