> 24 hourIm glad I went with the extra-long bit. The bit that comes with the inlay kit works well but limits you to 1/4 temples and limits your inlay depth. The longer bit allows you to use 1/2 thick templates and still cut a 1/4 deep inlay. 1/4 template allows you to get 3/4 inlays.

> 24 hourI used this but in a two stage carving. It worked very well in the roughing stage and then followed by a 60° v-bit for the rest of the details. I highly recommend.

> 24 hourIm an experienced woodworker, this bit is not worth the price. In fact the price implies that it is US or European made as the Amazon profile does not disclose it is China made. It broke within the first minute of use. Im sending it back for a refund. Amazon- disclose the country of origin on all products, quit playing games.

> 24 hourWhile this long shank might get you a deeper cut in some places, the 1/8 cutting portion is only 1 inch long, widens right out. So dont expect to get deep into corners/along sides because youve only got a 1 inch cut depth before the shank hits the upper wall of the material, prevents you from going deeper on the edge.
