Spinners, Black, 22-inch Baseline Essential Carry-On

> 3 dayI have used Briggs and Riley for YEARS for my international travel. I have 2 Baseline suitcases; one is the 22 inch 2 wheel expandable, and the other is the Global 21 inch 2 wheel expandable. I love the expansion system (or I thought I did). We also have a Tumi 26 check luggage expandable bag but it is a bit too heavy and limits the packing due to the weight issue so I thought I would pick 2 of these spinners as a replacements for the Tumi - mistakes were made! I am so glad I only used one of these. VERY disappointed and have returned the other that was never taken out of the box. Either the expansion system or the zipper damaged my clothing. I have a brand new pair of pants that tore down the seam/fold of the pants, and my sons suit pants are also ruined with multiple small holes that run down the seam of the pants. When we arrived at our destination and I saw the clothes I was so upset. I cannot tell how it happened but I wish I could return this suitcase too.

09-06-2025This carryon is extremely sturdy and well made. The large front pocket is big enough to hold a laptop sleeve or other flat items. The best part is the expansion feature. Most luggages expand by unzipping thus gaining an extra inch or two. But what if you need just half of that, not the full 2 inches but less than that? This luggage allows for that. Lots of nice features and very well made.

> 3 dayWe already had two pieces of this luggage in carryon size. This was the perfect addition for when you need to check a bag. It rolls smoothly through the airport and fit all my clothes for a two week cruise (in both cold and warm climates). Should last for years.

> 3 dayThis is my 5th Briggs & Riley bag, the quality is as top notch as the rest of them. My only concern is the dimensions add up to 67 inches - well beyond the 62 inch maximum allowed by US airlines for checked luggage. Im not sure how I feel about having to worry every time I check in for a flight that Im going to be charged for oversized luggage.

> 3 dayOutstanding piece of luggage, key kicker here: lifetime warranty. It is easy to move around, has a great design to pack for travel. If you travel a ton, this is a great one to have.

> 3 dayClose to perfect. Unfortunately there is not enough zipper clearance from the wheel casing. If the suitcase is empty or simply just not filled to the top then the cover will lay too flush and it’s a pain to maneuver around with one hand and still very cumbersome to do with two hands.
