> 3 dayBought this bit for routing 1/2 plywood from door and window openings with a Makita cordless router when were framing. It works great but you have to pay attention. It will grab pretty easy and want to get away from you. I would recommend this bit to anyone. Definitely worth the $$$ compared to a Whiteside bit.

> 3 dayI was pattern routing 1/2 and 3/4 Oak removing 1/32 stock to finish. The router bit did not cut smooth and ripped out chunks ruining several pieces before I gave up and purchased a similar bit made by Whiteside which performed perfectly. The Whiteside bit was almost twice the cost but worth every penny. I might add the guide bearing was faulty and I replaced it with one from another router bit. Very disappointed.

> 3 dayI bought two bits as replacements and a couple minutes into using it the clamp above the bearings and one of the bearings flies off! I was lucky enough to find both pieces and it was easy enough to put back together (which is telling) only for it to happen two more times, resulting in loss off parts. So, basically I spent $21 for three minutes of work, plus associated anger and disappointment.

> 3 dayFirst cut on router table cutting 1/2 MDF to follow my template it broke and ruined my template! Thank goodness the wood kept the bit from flying and no one else was around. Will not recommend.

> 3 dayI was having trouble with my flush trim bit. The detail I was trying to create was somewhat delicate and my bit kept ripping up the edge. This bit left a perfect edge and gave me a much nicer cut. The price was good too. I’m very happy with this bit and would recommend it.

> 3 dayI used this bit to trim 3/8 drywall around a door. It cut 4 ft of drywall then the bit broke in the center of the shaft. I didnt expect it to be ultra-durable, but this is terrible. Not worth the risk of the bit exploding during light use.

Greater than one weekGot the bit to route off the bullnose off stairs for hardwood install instead of cutting. The bit proved useless in that as it could not handle the 1 oak boards and just would not cut it. If you planning on making thick templates or routing hardwood look for something else.
