Greater than one weekLove these things. Anyone that spends time outdoors needs to keep some around for those pesky splinters or thorns. So much easier to dig them out versus using tweezers or needles.

Greater than one weekBest splinter removal tool. Always carry in your first aid kit. I got a real bad splinter from a piece of firewood while camping, had the sliver in my finger for a few days because no tools could remove it. I tried needles, tweezers, nothing worked. As soon as I got home I had the splinter out in seconds with this tool. Going to stash one in my car first aid kit from now on.

> 3 dayNot sure why thickness shows up as a spec for this product. The way I have been using this is to slice open the area near the splinter and then use the tip to pry out the splinter. The point is sharp and effective for getting out metal splinters for sure. Ive got these stashed in all my first aid kits and in my machine shop. If you carry this in a soft first aid kit, the plastic case that the bulk pack can crack/shatter. I usually position near some gauze packs to keep it from breaking.

Greater than one weekI discovered the splinterouts at my job some thirty years ago. They do an awesome job on splinters that you would just leave in to fester before you could get them out. I brought one home for my husband one time to get brass shavings out (he is a machinist) and he was sold. I had to keep robbing the first aid kit until I finally found some place that sold them. My house is fully stocked with them now. My daughter and grandson have followed in my ex-husbands footsteps and are now machinists. Not a drawer or medicine cabinet are without splinterouts now, neither are their work stations.
