First of all, it supports 56 megapixels, which I think is comparable to sony cameras, so even underwater it wont affect him in any way to capture HD creatures. Then it is very light and comes with many accessories: a replacement battery, a 64G SD card, which I have to admit saves a lot of time looking for q other memory card.
