> 24 hourGood quality glass screen. It also comes with all of the ribbon cables already installed to help making the repairs process easier. I definitely recommend some knowledge in electronic repair is a plus but with all of the knowledge available online anyone can diy this repair.

> 24 hourI have replaced screens and components on about 30 phones and tablets over the past few years. This touchscreen was very well packaged in a couple layers of bubble wrap in a cardboard box, along with a bonus hard screen protector, small tool kit, and screen wipes. The toughest part of every repair for me of a phone or tablet is getting the screen separated from the case. (That is why I needed to buy a new touchscreen for my iPad Air 2!). Watch several YouTube videos before attempting repair so you can see the cables that may be in the way of removing a screen. (I cut into the touchscreen cable thats on the lower right side of the tablet.) Once I had taken the old screen off, the removal of the LCD panel and metal cover over the touchscreen cable connectors was easy. Then reseating the LCD, four screws in the corners and check the surface for dust and smudges. Check! This touchscreen has adhesive strips already installed around the edges. Use a razor to easily lift off the protective paper covering the adhesive areas. Its relatively straightforward to align the touchscreen in the iPad housing and lay it down, where pressure is applied to secure the screen. I used a hair dryer around the edges for a couple minutes to heat up the adhesive. That’s probably not a necessity. The touchscreen seems to be well-made. The points that sold me on a purchase were that the home button was already included and attached, plus the touchscreen had adhesive strips. Some other touchscreen options dont include those two features, without which a lot of time (and frustration) can occur fiddling with small and fragile parts. The added screen protector was a nice bonus. Overall, I would definitely recommend this product for its value and quality!

> 24 hourNo instructions Took two hours. And the home key doesn’t work. I would send it back but I seriously refuse to spend another two hours taking it off
