Stanwood Wind Sculpture: Kinetic Copper Dual Spinner - Double Windmill Spinner

> 3 dayThere are most costly wind sculptures ($1000 and up) elsewhere, but Stanwood wind sculptures have the perfect quality at a more than reasonable price for lifetime outdoor art and this design spins so well (in opposite directions) and is amazingly beautiful. . i bought several cheap wind spinners (ones under $150) and was always disappointed. The cheap ones dont spin except in 30+ mph winds and even then they dont spin fast because there is too much friction or because they are unbalanced. They cheap kind wont last long either. I got fed up and bought this majestic spinner. The spinner has steel ball bearings hidden inside which is the key in reducing friction to insure easy movement. What I received was so well engineered and so superior in its materials and workmanship I realized it was not only worth every penny but it was in fact a bargain. The thickness of the pole mean no bending at the joints or shimmying like cheap spinners tend to do. The top of the sculpture is also strong, thick and sturdy metal that is perfectly balanced. It shines beautifully and I choose to spray it with Rust-Oleum Gloss Clear Enamel to keep it shiny all year long. I was rewarded right away with a little breeze and a spinning sculpture. It is definitely sculpture because its design is so well executed that it belongs in a museum as a fine example of kinetic art. I hate the cheap ones I bought previously and I love this Stanwood wind sculpture so much I bought two others by Stanwood which have made me very happy with their quality, amazing designs and ease of movement even when the wind is low. When we get a real windy day I look out a window and am fascinated by their beauty.

> 3 dayAbsolutely gorgeous. Purchased as a gift to go in our front-yard garden, it is exactly what we were looking for (a beautiful, yet subtle addition to our small garden). It was very fast and easy to assemble. I placed the windmill in soft dirt, so I needed to drive the pole fairly deep to ensure stability (be sure to have a rubber mallet or other soft pounding device when you install this, as it is pure copper and brass). After driving the main pole deep enough (approximately 12-18) and placing the three provided stakes into the ground, the windmill was very stable. And, for the most important part, it looks amazing, easily spinning with even the most gentle breeze. Highly recommended!

> 3 dayThese Wind Sculptures are some of the strongest and well make of any I have found. The Copper is all put together well and the base is strong and can hold up in a wind storm. So glad I made this purchase, even thinking of getting another. It shines when it spins and gets alot of attention. Love it!

> 3 dayDid not spin the first day I installed it, but next morning walking out from the back door I was pleasantly surprised to see it move, smooth effortlessly and graceful. Nice addition to the yard. Finding the right spot for placement is key for making it fit naturally into the yard.

03-12-2024expensive but worth every dollar if you want your yard to look like a park. we get more complements on these than anything we have in yard.

> 3 dayThis is the second Stanwood spinner that I have purchased and am glad I did. They are beautiful to look at a standstill and even better when a breeze spins them. They are well worth the price as they are sturdy and easy to install.

> 3 dayIs there a way to give this a six star rating? We adore the spinner! It is copper and brass with a very sturdy pole and smooth spinning mechanism. We also bought 2 other spinners from different companies at the same time to do a grouping. The other two were much less expensive but also much less sturdy and I am sure will not last past this summer. We have some wind here at the farm but this spinner handles it well. My prediction is that we will replace the lesser spinners with more from this company.
