22-11-2024Not too bad for a cheap network rack. The holes on mine perfectly lined up for 16 inch studs so no modifications had to be made. The only thing I did was unscrew and remove the bar on the top as it got in the way of me mounting my rack shelf for my routers and modems. I understand its designed to help brace the rack, but once you have switches and power supplies mounted in, the rack is not going to flex and bend. For a small office/home install, this should be a satisfactory purchase.

17-11-2024I purchased this to clean up my network closet in my home. I have a patch panel and a switch installed on this bracket and the room looks professional now.

> 3 dayPros: Inexpensive. Relatively well constructed. Cons: Bad quality control. See photo. this clearly is not shipping damage. It appears to be a grinder mark of some sort. Only 12 mounting bolts and spring nuts. You would need 24 to fill this with all 1U devices. Only 10 plastic washers included... Wall mount hardware comes with plastic anchors.

> 3 dayMy only issue is that it should come with more cage nuts/screws. It comes with 12 total (as indicated on the StarTech website). Otherwise, it is absolutely perfect!!!

> 3 dayBe sure to check your depth so you have room for the plugs in the back of equipment to fit inside the rack. This is pretty sturdy, was very easy to install, and really helped clean up a messy install while adding a nice new switch. Uses standard square holes you put a nut in for bolts. Came with 12 nuts and bolts in the box.

> 3 dayI installed this in my brother-in-laws basement....mounted it up high and put his networking gear in it. No problems....fairly easy to mount in an odd location. Dimensions are spec and rack mount gear fits in with no problem. Im not a huge fan of the clip in threads, but I understand the draw of them. Just another little *thing* to keep up with and not be able to track down when you need them down the road. I recommend.
