Step2 Neighborhood Wagon with Seats, Red

> 3 dayThis is my third Step 2 product and all of them so far have been well-designed and fun for our daughter. This is no exception. I was pleasantly surprised how deep and long the wagon was. Now my daughter is just 22 months and on the small side. But her and a 3 year old friend both get in and have plenty of room. I also like that there are safety waist straps on both sides. Assembly is pretty straight forward but we did run into a couple of problems. Throughout the assembly you are asked to use a hammer to get end pieces on. While doing this the metal flattened out and expanded on the rear axle making it impossible to put on. We considered calling Step 2 and I am sure they would have been great. But instead we bought a $7 metal file from Wal-Mart and filed the end down. It then worked ok. BUT be sure to use the provided brace on the opposite end so the axel is pushed up as far as possible when putting on the second rear wheel. Once assembled very pleased with the operation. It is easy to both push and pull and the wheels are very smooth. One design flaw though. The side for drinks is very roomy. All of our sippy cups fit with ease. The other side is supposed to be for chip bags or books. It is much too shallow. Bizarre oversight. It is basically useless. In the end we decided on this over the cozy coupe for added verticality and we are not disappointed. You might not have any assembly problems and the assembly is not hard. We found a workaround fairly easily for our problem. Aside from the way too shallow chip holder all other aspects of the wagon are well-designed. I also like the color, a true fire engine red. I dont think you would go wrong with any of the other Step 2 wagons either. Recommended.

> 3 dayVery durable and my kids love it. I only gave it 4 stars though because it’s VERY loud. Not easy to walk and talk with anyone.

> 3 dayThis wagon is very sturdy! I live on a ranch and needed a little wagon to haul my little granddaughter in. This is perfect. It maneuvers great through the grass and she absolutely loves getting pulled around. It has drink holders and snack holders on it too. My kids used to have the green one with the door when they were little and that was used FOR YEARS. This wagon is perfect and I intend to get a lot of use out of it! (Granddaughter approved!)

Greater than one weekThis is a good wagon if you dont need a ton of features or have super fair skinned kids who need a sun shade. It is easy to pull, but if your child is in the back seat, the front wheels will pull up which makes it possible for your kid to fall out. To fix this problem, I have my son sit in the front seat and it doesnt happen anymore. It is pretty sturdy and you can use it on pavement or in the grass without trouble.

> 3 dayI bought 2 of these for christmas for the grandkids age 2. They were easy to put together and are very sturdy. The kids love them and want to be pulled around even if its just in the house

Greater than one weekThe wagon is nice but they forgot to put in the bar that holds the handle on. Because this was a gift that we filled with toys we had to find one somewhere else. Ended up having to buy a piece and have it cut to use it. I just wish all of the pieces would have been there!

> 3 dayThis model is not as nice as the other one offered by the same company for just a little more money. I had already ordered this one because the price shown for the other on Amazon was quite a bit more. On the day it was delivered, my daughter sent me a picture of the other model which is larger and has a lidded accessory compartment as well as a door on the side. It was on sale for about $20 more at a local toy store. I should have compared the two more carefully before choosing and paid closer attention to the wording in the description. The so-called storage compartment might hold a pair of sunglasses but is not deep enough for a cell phone and it is not lidded. Also, it is smaller, so my granddaughter will outgrow it sooner. If my son had not already put this one together, I would have returned it. I am sure in durability and basic operation, both models are the same, but this one is definitely the base model.
