Step2 Whisper Ride II Ride On Push Toy Car, Pink – Ride On Car with Included Seat Belt, Easy Storage and Transport, Makes a Great Stroller Alternative

Okay.... I am a person that finds assembling Ikea furniture to be somewhat relaxing. I don’t mind assembly. This was hands down the WORST thing i’ve ever put together and I have an Ikea wardrobe system I put together myself. It came out of the box as a pink shell and a myriad of wheels, plastic pieces, axles, stickers, etc. the directions sheet was like a bad fax. The pictures were so dark you could barely see how thing fit together and there were no words only letters that label pieces you can barely make out. In order to get the wheels on the axles and on the car, you have to use pliers and a wrench at the same time - be prepared to be handy to get this together and to contemplate tossing the whole thing out the door. A few hours later we had a functioning car that felt generally stable. I’m still not entirely sure the seat belt is on the right way, but after assembling it 4 different ways, there just doesn’t seem to be a right way and I holds the little one in place, so I gave up. It’s pretty roomy. The cup holders fit bottles of water, cans, and of course sippy cups. My LO is 18 months and dits fine and will enable to ride in this for a long time to come. She loves to go for walks in this. I have to be careful about the time of day since there is no sunshade. Now, I paid extra for the whisper quiet version of this toy. Don’t bother. It is NOT quiet. It tumbled along the side walk pretty loudly. I can only imagine what the non-whisper quiet version is like. I don’t think the noise reduction. Is worth the extra cost as it’s loud. It also doesn’t maneuver worth a darn. If you need to turn, move to the side, or anything that is not just straight, you basically end up dragging it. It goes over most bumps okay, but we have hit a few large sidewalk bumps that caused us to have to pop a wheelie. My kid loves this thing. I’ll forever have nightmares about having to assemble it and then listen to it rumble through the streets.

This little whisper buggy ride car is awesome. We bought the pink girl one for my daughter for her first birthday almost 3 years ago and we have used it almost everyday (weather permitting) for walks.. sometimes more than once a day. Our daughter still loves hers and we still use it so it was no question what we were getting our son for his first birthday. We got him this blue boy one and now he has one too and he loves it and they are both in their matching cars when we take walks. Comfortable to push. Not heavy. Super fun for baby and toddler to ride/play in. I feel safe with my son strapped in with the included seatbelt even though he is 12 months and not the recommended 18 months. My daughter got hers at 12 months and there was never a safety issue with her either. Just perfect! They love the horn and cup holders to store pinecones or flowers etc. the only thing I would change is the adult cup holder.. I wish it was a little bigger around to be able to hold something other than a small water bottle (really wish my iPhone 6 could fit in it) and I wish it was a complete enclosed cup holder so that I could put smaller items in it and them not fall out (like keys)

My son loves it it is a great one. We are so relaxed with this car as he is enjoying his time while we get a chance to walk. However, instruction guides are very bad for this car. They really need to improve it as actually assembly is good but guide makes it more complicated. They could have done storage better and cup holder alao bigger

I bought one for my nieces first birthday and she absolutely loved it, So for my nephews first birthday I bought one for him and he absolutely loves it. Watching my nieces push their children in their little cars and watching the children enjoy them puts a smile on my face.

I purchased this as a gift for a friends 2 year old daughters birthday. The Mom was able to easily put it together by herself in less than an hour (we had to separate her into a different from from the kids so she could put it together as they were absolutely crazy about playing on it right away!). I use to have one of the original push buggys from step2 for my son and cannot believe the wonderful improvements!!! - The wheels are half the size and QUIET! (the buggy we had were huge plastic ones like on the little tikes cozy coupe) - There is storage space! (I think the last ones that came out before this had storage too) - EXTRA cup holders - the adult cup holder is great for drinks is a more tall cup so it doesnt easily fall out (some sippy cups are too tall for the kids cup holders) - The seat is bigger! Before it would snuggly fit 1 toddler, now it actually fit TWO toddlers in it (a 2 & a 2 1/2 year old) in it at the same time! - Floor board is open - before it would have a middle slat so the feet would be placed on either side. This one is completely open like riding in a power wheels car. - Extra food space! - Instead of just setting your feet directly on the floorboard, theres room to stretch out as if there were pedals in a power wheels car so a longer legged toddler or older child can still fit. - The handle tucks under, as description states, but its also longer and easier to push it seems. Before you had to lean forward a bit, yet not with this one! My friend (and her daughter) were beyond thrilled to have this as a birthday gift!! And arriving in pink made it all the more perfect :-D My son (and I) like it so much, we had to order him the same one in blue - even though he outgrew his older push buggy almost a year ago! - This one will last him for YEARS Im sure!

So perfect for first birthday

My toddler is seriously obsessed with this car, we push her every day after dinner and I swear it’s the highlight of her day. It has a lap seat belt so I don’t have to worry about her trying to climb out. There is three cup holders, two at child level and one in the handle, and a small amount of storage space under the hood. We usually walk between 1-2 miles daily and have used it for months and has held up very well.
