This was perfect for our 2year old granddaughter. We liked it so much we ordered one for her house as well!

Wonderful little car once it is assembled! Purchased when my granddaughter was 10 months old now one year. It is sturdy enough to walk all around the neighborhood without concerns of wobbling. There is plenty of space, I love the cup holder for the adult driver and I think this will last at least a couple of years. Assembly was tricky! Im not kidding, my father is an engineer and it took the two of us to work through the instructions which were pitiful. Theres one mystery piece that actually is used as a tool for the wheels and realizing it wasnt actually a part for the car was our biggest challenge. I strongly recommend a drill gun rather than simple screwdriver, it saved a lot of time. If you can find one already assembled, used, you will save yourself about 2 hours. The kids love the car!

Build didn’t take very long but instructions were sorta confusing because some things were different colors than what the instructions showed and the views of the parts made it difficult to tell if we had all the parts at first. Also there was a step it said to do that was already done prior to receiving, so we were looking for a part for about 20min before we realized it was in the car already. That being said, my 18 month old loves it. She puts her cups and snacks in the cup holders, stores her toys in the front trunk and uses it like a movie drive-in in our living room. I also love that it has a cup holder on the handle for rides outside. Definitely designed with kid and parent in mind. It’s a little hard to turn, you sorta have to lift the front wheels to do sharp turns, but my daughter loves when we pop a wheelie :)

The instructions were a pain. The parts list was on one page and the assembly pictures were on the back. Since the parts werent labeled, it was constant flipping back and forth. If youve ever put together a kids wagon, though, it will be pretty familiar. There were about three pictures of the steering column, which was really easy on mine to get in. So I kept staring at the directions thinking I was missing something--I wasnt. You just have to make sure the two little tabs are pushed in to go through the car and when it comes out the other side, that they both open again. It did this by itself so it took me a bit to figure out that everything was fine. I REALLY wish the wheels turned. I didnt really understand what the reviews meant til I got it (thought maybe it was just that the steering wheel didnt turn the wheels, and I didnt want my son having control over where we were going, or that maybe some of the wheels were stationary but others were not) and realized that unless you plan on going forward and backward in a straight line, its annoying. Ive found that if you lean on the handle opposite where you want to turn, it tends to veer in that direction. Good enough for now. My son is tall for 2 1/2 but he has some legroom still, which is nice. Also, the description says there are 6 cup holders. Theres 3. Plus the hood, where you can put a few things.

My grandson is at the age where a stroller is not always necessary so I purchased this as an alternative for our walks around the neighborhood and local parks. I am so happy with this item and he absolutely loves his blue car.

First the downside: The parts lists shows item K, but, this is NOT a part, only a tool (of which I didnt use) and it had part P, stuck inside, of which, I wasted time trying to figure out how to use it. The answer came when it fell on the floor and part P came loose (an extra part for locking the wheel on the shaft). I used a rubber mallet, not hammer, and a ratchet screwdriver with a good handle, which made putting the dashboard easier to put on as there isnt any pre-drilled holes to start the screws and also the screws for the seat belts (the belts are on backwards on this car?) are very long and would be difficult to screw in using a normal screwdriver, especially if one has trouble using their hands. The front wheel came off and we had a hard time to get my grandchild to get out of the car to fix it, which was an easy fix. The handle, of which was my main reason to buy this toy, does fold down, but, if you want to remove it, you will need a wrench (open-end is best) and a pair of pliers to loosen the nut and then you pull out the long bolt, the downside is that to replace it, you have to line up the four holes once again, which is a pain; this handle should be made to quicK disconnect for ease (WAKE-UP STEP TWO) of taking off and putting back on again. I made a copy of the parts lists as I got fed up with flipping the paper over trying to figure out what I was suppose to do, and this made it easier for me. The only toy for my grandchild to play with while he is in the seat is the steering wheel (the horn didnt get him excited at all) and he kept trying to raise the trunk as they call it in front, but sitting down in the car, he couldnt do it and almost broke the lid trying (another wake-up call for STEP TWO; we need more gadgets to amuse the child while they are in the seat). The good: my grandson loved it and I enjoyed being able to push him around the yard without breaking my back bending down. It looks wonderful but because there isnt anything for a child to play with besides the steering wheel, I only gave it four stars. It is too bad that toy manufacturers dont ask the parents/grandparents what they would like to have on these toys; I guess that they themselves dont have any children to learn from. The construction seems to be sturdy enough, but I am not too sure about those wheels, the only part that came from China, as they feel flimsy. I didnt use the seatbelt, but when my wife started to push the car, our grandson, reached down and tried to put them on himself (he is 20 months). Yep, he has been in her car so I guess he knows best. There is a lot of room inside, of which I am happy as the cold air is coming in and he will be able to wear heavy clothes while I am pushing him outside and this should be usable as a push-toy for a few years and of course his parents can remove the handle when he does get too big to fit inside. My only regret: not finding this car sooner in the year. Putting it together was a labor of love and really not that difficult once you can figure out the pictures and where to start. +JMJ+

The assembly instructions were very confusing, but my male friend assembled it for me. I would not have been able to do it, as a female :) I purchased the vehicle for my 1 year old grandson. He loves it! He gets looks and compliments when he is being pushed.
