Installed in the front bumper of my Duramax for the block heater when I replaced the cord for the heater. Looks better then the cord hanging out and protects the prongs from corrosion. Good product.

You could use this to work in the bed of your truck if you dont have a factory option.

I am using these for a bit of an unorthodox application: making some DIY lifepo4-based power stations inside of plastic ammo cans. So this for me is for recharge of those when 120 is available.

Heads up that I received the product through Amazon Vine.

I installed this on my boat on the outside of my center console. Now I can plug in my 3 bank charger without going into the console to get the plug. The installation screws are not stainless, as my boat is a saltwater boat, I had to trade them out for stainless. Not that big of a deal, but be aware they are not stainless screws. I put them through the magnet test.

I have two small barns that dont have electricity. I have used theseport plugs on many company vehicles so I thought this could work on my barns to have temporary electricity when needed.

I just put a battery charger in my boat, and liked the idea of being able to plug the lead into an outlet rather than having to run it through a compartment. The brand of my charger, noco, sells their own version of this and it is more expensive. However, this one seems nearly identical. It isnt, however. The stio uses 12AWG cable in the extension, while the brand name uses 14. It wont really matter in this application, but there isnt really a downside to having a fatter wire connecting to your battery here.

I shopped for some time before purchasing this product. The selling point is 12-gauge wire. Just installed, not clear about lifespan, but the features are as represented. I am using this for a 750W/120V engine block heater. I wanted a safety margin.
