> 24 hourThe unit appears to be well built, installation was straight forward. However, it would be a lot better pulley assembly if there were some way to lubricate the bearing surfaces. A grease fitting would be a great improvement. Ive got a long run of clothesline, with the anchor pulley about 125 feet away, and this pulley complains LOUDLY when in use. In the winter Ive got a couple of small bird feeders on the clothesline, and need to refill them on a daily basis. The pulley squeals as Im bringing the feeders back to refill them or running them back out to about mid-point. Ive found that I need to pull on both sides of the pulley, one hand pulling cable towards the house, the other pulling the cable on the other side of the pulley away from the house. Ive tried applying some penetrating oil to the axle, which doesnt help at all. I debated leaving a rating of 2 or 3, would not buy this item again.

> 24 hourA good clothesline pulley. Easy to install and with a low friction bearing.

> 24 hourIt is advertised as 6.5 inch but the outside dia. is 6.00 and at the bottom of the grove where the cable runs; its only 5.5 (It works okay but I wanted a 6.5 inch pully) (I should have paid the extra $2.00 and got an 8 Pulley)

> 24 hourOver the years we always purchased cheaper (non-ball bearing type) cloths line pulleys and without fail they would eventually wear down at the axle point and begin to seize up. Also, not to mention the very loud screeching that would emanate from the pulleys every time you put out and or pulled in clothes. This time we decided to spend a little extra and go with these pulleys. These things glide so smoothly, making it a pleasure to dry your cloths on the line. One suggestion though, since they do move extremely well, sometimes the cloths will wind up coasting down on their own as more weight is added to the line, so we just use a cloths pin and put it right at the pulley to hold things in place.
