Strathmore 300 Series Bristol Paper Pad, Smooth, Tape Bound, 11x14 inches, 20 Sheets (100lb/270g) - Artist Paper for Adults and Students - Markers, Pen and Ink

This product took a while in the mail. When it was received, the binding tape that holds the papers together fell off and wouldnt stick. The corners are bent and it looks used. It came in a plastic bag which did not give a good support. I have not heard from the seller yet. Just waiting how they will handle this defective product. Very disappointed.

I love the quality of this bristol. Its my first time using it and Ive found it very versatile. Its thick enough to use with watercolour paints. I also use it for calligraphy and it works really well for that purpose. Ive done a lot of pencil sketching and erasing and the surface holds up really well.

Excellent product.

Lovely smooth paper. I am using this paper with Caran D’Ache Luminance pencils and wanted a smooth finish and this seems to work very well. Have only tried a few berries and leaves so far, but I am very pleased with the smooth results. It is a thick sheet too so I am glad I didn’t go for the 500 as it would have been too thick for what I needed. Would love to have this paper in a spiral bound book.

Great for preliminary drawings prior to doing oil portrait.

Product was damaged and I could not return it because I needed it for class.

This product type is an industry standard for a reason. And this manufacturer doesn’t disappoint. It accepts a variety of mediums extremely well and durably archives for decades. If you’re looking for Bristol board, then this an excellent brand to choose.
