I was super excited and nervous to try out this kind of paper with watercolor and gauche paints. It has been a bit of a process to learn how to use it, but the results have been phenomenal. It takes to shimmer paint very well. The paper is surprisingly strong and doesn’t ripple at all, at least for me. The only issue I found was that a piece got scrubbed when I didn’t let it dry properly and then over worked it, but that’s my own issue, not the paper. Highly recommend!

I love this paper. So interesting to see how the different colors react on this toned.

Nice paper. Thick. Good tone. I’m not sure it will work for colour pencils if you’re a beginner like me. I struggle with applications and layers. Too smooth and almost shiny. Also, check measurements. See pic. I ended up with small pad on the right. I don’t mind as I can take out with me, but honestly not what I was expecting.

This heavyweight paper is great for cardmaking and accepts wet media very well. Will reorder and try other colors as well.

It was the first time Ive tried this kind of paper and honestly, I was a bit scared - but it turned out to be way beyond my expectations. Thick, firm, it supports many erasings and also suitable for maaaany layers of color. Highly recommended for mixed media use!

I love sketching on this toned paper!It is the best.I only got a chance to create the one scketch above on it but i loved the experience.The paper feels like heaven beneath within my hands!So smooth and strong ❤I plan to buy several of these sketch pads when i get am able

Algunos podrían considerarlo algo caro pero el grosor y la calidad del papel lo valen sin duda alguna.

Strathmore Mixed Media Pads are excellent. But be aware that the color of the Toned Blue pad is very similar the piment Davys gray, a greenish gray.
