> 3 dayI thought the reusable straws Ive been using for iced tea were perfectly clean after soaking them in hot soapy water and rinsing them well -- until I tried one of these brushes. I was surprised by the amount of brown residue that came out of the first straw I used it on that I thought was already clean. The residue rinsed right out of the brush with no noticeable staining, and the brush looked new again after a quick wash. The brush length is perfect for my straws, allowing me to easily clean the entire inside of each straw from one end without having to repeat from the other end. I push the brush all the way through and then twist the straw as I pull the brush back out, and that seems to give a good cleaning. Im very happy with the product and its price.

Greater than one weekIts nice for cleaning up straws but the sticks are just twisted wires, not spring. My existing one is spring one, that is very convenient to carry and travel with, this one is not.
