> 24 hourSo, to clear up any confusion, I can say for certain that this replacement button DOES work with the metal Streamlight Stinger DS LED flashlight. Also, the only tools I used were a small Phillips head screwdriver and some fine point needle nose pliers. The pliers were just to put in the small holes to screw out the metal ring that holds the LED assembly in and the screwdriver was for the two small screws that hold in the LED assembly and also act as the charger contacts. If you’re at least slightly mechanically inclined you can figure this one out. Picture is of the flashlight with the model and S/N visible after the replacement with this item’s packaging that shows the part number and the two tools I used. My only complaint was the price was higher than listed other places online, but probably right in line after shipping from the other vendors. And we’re talking about $5 after tax. It beats buying a new light and isn’t bad for having been through 3 years of heavy use.

> 24 hourAs luck would have it I use my streamlight stinger just about every day and so the button that was on it had developed a tear and of course since it is the holiday season and none of my tool truck guys have been able to show up I needed something for the time being to address the boot. I could have warrantied it but I would have had to wait for awhile.
