We bought several of these, in several different colors. None lasted through more than 3 uses, and these were average eastern rainy days, nothing torrential or dramatically windy. Were done with this brand.

I am very unhappy with this umbrella and absolutely would not recommend it. I waited quite a while before leaving my review so I could try it out a few times. Im very glad that I did because it broke by the third use, even without ever being used in strong winds or even heavy rain. The first sign of trouble was that the automatic mechanism that you release to open the umbrella stopped locking back into place when closed. This meant that every time I came inside, Id have to fully batten down the umbrella using its velcro tabs, or it would pop back open. I was trying to live with that, even with the risk that it would mold, but then the handle broke, so now I cant even easily carry it with me. I will still keep it around for emergencies when I have completely forgotten to plan for rain, but with all its problems, it is not worth the trouble for every day use.

very dissapointed the minute the box came open. The fact that this umbrella came in a box is the first problem. The product is typical throw-away junk you would find at Walmart. it doesnt block all of the suns light, the materials purposely allow sunlight through it. The standard beams on the frame might last a week or two. handlebar is cast mold plastic. no shade on my legs. performs 0% of the function I bought it for. for 14$ I expected something not assembled in China.

Excellent umbrella! The first Id purchased arrived with the green handle broken (due to poor packaging). I returned it and they replaced it asap. Excellent purchase. The perfect color! Easy to use big enough for two, light weight. Handles strong winds VERY well. Best umbrella that Ive owned to date. A definite buy. Better than described!
