We bought these for our cruise. They definitely did not hold 25 lbs. I had two lightweight hangers with two very lightweight scarves on them and they kept sliding down the wall. We certainly couldnt use them to hang the toiletry bags on the bathroom wall as planned. They were useful to hang lanyards on and a cap, but nothing heavier.

These are great! I use them in my kitchen to hang pots and pans, so they can hold a decent amount of weight. I do wish the hooks didnt twist around so much -- given that you can always rotate the entire thing if you need a different position, it doesnt make sense to me that the hooks move, and it just means things move slightly more than you want when youre taking something on and off it.

I used these magnets on the side of my refrigerator to hold a couple small kitchen pots. They are doing a good job - the pots are staying put, no sliding down. My understanding is if you adhere the magnets onto a thin metal sheet/surface, there could be some slipping and/or sliding but Ive not had that problem. The felt pads help me feel more confident that the side of my fridge wont be scratched. Good buy.
