Greater than one weekIf you are considering this - well make sure your TV doesnt need anything pointing straight out on the back - most cables come in from the side. Check the VESA measurements too. Mine was the full 55 inches - 5 years old so heavier than the new ones - and it was as easy as pie to do and holds it solid. Just follow the instructions - and even this 70 year old was able to do it alone in 15 minutes. This is one great invention!
