> 3 dayThis replaced my 2008 Subaru grommet that holds the hood prop to the firewall. I used a little Armor All as a lubricant and a small screw driver to push the edges in with gentle force to get it into place. Perfect fit!

Greater than one weekUse a heat gun to heat the grommet a little bit before inserting or else you aren’t getting it in there.
