I was surprised at the actual size of these dolphins. They are about twice the size of the ones you would wear with a uniform. I plan on putting them on my truck as added bling. People who arent familiar with those of us who served in the Navy Submarine Service wont have a clue what they are but to those of us who have served they will identify us. I have a new Silverado truck and put these dolphins right below the bowtie emblem on the tailgate. They look really cool as added bling to my new truck.

This is as sharp as they come, high quality with a great automotive adhesive backing. Took the precautions to break down my ceramic treatment before putting it on. 1200 miles later is looks as amazing as it did when I put in on. It does two things... Gives me the opportunity to let my submarine service be known AND it makes it easier to locate in the sea of black Harleys that are at the larger of events LOL

This is a beautiful set of dolphins. Its made from a solid piece of metal and the adhesive is strong and thin. It really hugs the surface well and looks fantastic in place. The finish has a deep shine and really looks like a quality emblem. You can tell as soon as you take it out of the package that its not a cheap piece of plastic like you would get at an auto parts store. Its very well sized so that you can easily recognize it from a distance, but not to large that it looks gaudy. This was a well thought out product and a perfect way to show my submarine pride! I will be ordering more to put on my other vehicles. One note of caution however, the adhesive is VERY tacky. Make 110% sure that before you let it touch anything that its straight and level and placed where you like it. The adhesive will grab HARD as soon as it touches the paint surface, so if you dont like how it lays the first time, you will be spending some time removing the adhesive and cutting yourself some new adhesive.

I received a set of gold dolphins for my car. These were much larger than I expected based on the other reviews, and are very tough - I couldnt put them on my daily driver since I couldnt easily bend them to conform to the shape of the rear trunk lid! That said, I think these look great, and looking forward to being able to purchase a few more sets for my other cars.
