Works great but don’t get it near your eyes! Burns like crazy

I LOVE Sun Bum. All of their products. And this one right here is my all-time fav. Smells amazing, protects your skin like crazy, doesnt leave your skin feeling greasy/coated and blends sooo easily. Also, with my eczema prone skin - this product is great and doesnt leave me with hives or feeling itchy. Water-proof for the most part, sweat adds a bit of a different story if you sweat immediately after applying you might get some white sweat beads, but nothing crazy. I love Sun Bum and all of their stuff and would recommend to anyone &&& will continue to buy.

This sunblock has become my favorite one. I can actually use it on my face without breaking out.

Great product right here! We got this for a cruise (its reef friendly) and I cant say enough good stuff about it. We used it while at Perfect Day at Coco Cay - in the sun... by the pool... and I must say, I didnt get any sort of sunburn. Now, I got some color but no burn at all! We were out for a couple of hours... I applied about every 45 minutes (not sure what the directions say), swam, walked around, laid in the sun, swam, walked around, swam... you get the point. I tend to burn the first few times I do sunbathing... then have to deal with the peeling skin and all that mumbo-jumbo. NO issues with this fine product. Oh... It flippin smells great too!

Smells like summer and protects you from the pain that summer might bring! No sunburns here!!!

Why wouldn’t we choose a lotion that can both provide a person with protection from the sun while not damaging the living coral reef! A light scent, not greasy, blends into the skin quickly and will never buy any other sun protection lotion!

So, I recently got my hands on some Sun Bum, and let me tell you, its become my go-to sunscreen. One thing that immediately caught my attention is its awesome scent. You know how most sunscreen brands have that generic, chemical smell? Well, Sun Bum breaks the mold with a refreshing fragrance that actually smells great, almost like bananas. No more walking around smelling like a bottle of sunscreen. Its a breeze to put on. It goes on smoothly and effortlessly, like spreading butter. No greasy or sticky residue to deal with, which is perfect. It absorbs quickly, so I can get back to doing what I love outdoors without feeling all gross and weighed down. Youre not buying lotion or cologne, the real deal is the protection. Recently, I went on a trip to Colorado with my buddies, and while they all came back looking like they spent too much time under a heat lamp, I managed to avoid the dreaded lobster look. Thanks a proper application, my skin stayed protected, and I came back with a cool tan instead. It did its job remarkably well, shielding me from those intense mountain rays. If smell is important to you, Ill freely give this sunscreen my seal of approval.

We had a couple families buy this product (50 and 30 spf) for a trip to Maui….and are not impressed. We are tropical travels and this is our first time not using traditional lotion. Yes the concept of the product, the environmental aspect, and the smell is great…but there are some serious drawbacks: 1) it does not protect from the sun as does typical suntan lotion does. We all got somewhat burnt the first day and we used the product as directed. Sun Bum 50 equates to a normal 15 (IMO). And 2) it SUPER SUPER stings once it gets in your eyes. I have never had an issue like this. We all noticed while in the water that it inevitably it gets in your eyes if applied to the face or head. Like pepper spray. Definitely not cool at all. Just some thoughts if you go with this product. Buy a stronger than normally needed SPF and buy a different product for the face/head .

It does have the typical sunscreen scent, but goes away after you apply it,

Doesn’t feel too heavy. No burn after being out in the sun for four days in a row in the Caribbean, but was smart about reapplying as needed as well as seeking shade. Spent a lot of time in the water and it seemed to hold up. Love that it’s reef safe, a must where we were.
