The sensor works fine even inside the recessed “can” fixture over the front door. Comes on just before dark underneath a porch. The light from the lanterns on each side of the door does not interfere with the function. I put dusk-sensor bulbs in all three fixtures and they all three activate at the same time — just before dark. They’re not fooled by cloudy, dark storms during daylight hours.

Lights are bright but they have a problem with some of them blinking at dusk and at dawn contacted seller and were no help just said to go through amazon for return instead of standing behind products wouldn’t buy again

Out of 4 lights, two were defective. Thus, from my experience, if you need 4 lights, order 8.

Love the fact I no longer have to rush home to turn on the lights or get up in the morning to shut them off.

I got the least lumen one and was pleasantly surprised with the brightness, the warm tone worked well too. As far as the sensor that worked great even though we have a street light in front of our house. Keeps the wife from having to remind me to turn on the front light lol.

Love these bulbs..now when I come.home at night..my porch lights are already on
