Sunday Afternoons Kids Fun Bucket Hat

I bought the bucket hat size M for my then 5 year old daughter in 2016 and we are just now ready to move up in size. the adjustable strap in the back was very useful in adding to the life of this hat. You can buy the size M for a 3 or 4 year old and it will last you for 2-3 years! We travel to beach places twice a year and also wear this hat at home and it has held its color and shape over the course of 2 years. The brim stays in place and it is not floppy like other hats we tried before. My daughter used to get annoyed at the floppy hats getting in the way of her vision and she would take it off. I like that this hat is cute, practical and comfortable for kids to wear so there is no fighting for keep your hat on . the other feature of this hat that has proven very useful is that is collapses well for packing making it a perfect travel hat. I also have the sunday afternoon hat with the long brim on the back for extra neck protection but I like this one better for fashion.

we usually go on vacation where it very hot, and it usually challenge to keep my kids heads covered because they get sweety under it, but this was amazing my son didnt want to take it off he even swim with it on !! will repurchase bigger size when the get older!!!!

LOVE THIS HAT!!! - This is a very high quality hat, worth the money! Material is light and feels nice. I love the vents, the sturdy but foldable brim, and the under chin strap (an essential for us). - my toddler will give up and actually wear this hat. Other hats wed try hed rip off and throw on the ground. Wed try to pretend wear those other hats to show its cool and hed take them off our heads in disgust too. He still hates getting the hat put on, but actually wears this one. This is now our everyday summer hat. - his vision isnt impaired by the brim, which is something I worried about. Its shape and sturdiness keep it out of the way. I think this is one of the reasons he prefers it over the others. - It makes great shade! Does the job its made for. - This hat is so cute! It brightens my day seeing him in it because its just so adorable! - I got the size small (baby) for my 16 month old with a 98%tile head. It fit perfectly, but without room to spare. His head circumference is 49cm, which shouldve left some room according to the sizing chart. But, I would still have ordered the same size, because it fits great and Id rather have it be perfect and get another one next year rather than meh but last 2 summers. And I will be ordering another for next summer. And all future summers and for all future kids and generally recommend this hat to all. Its expensive but I think worth having one great hat rather than several just-okay ones.

I have a really hard time having my son wear any kind of hat. I tried so many but this one was the winner. This hat is very lightweight and covers the sun very well. This is the right hat if you have kiddo being fussy about not wanting to wear a hat.

I have worn sun hats for the last several years to the point where my face rarely sees the sun. My favorite kimd of hat is one that has wire in the brim, so that you can control the coverage and the hat wont flop in your line of vision. It is hard to find a hat with the wire even for adults, let alone for kids. And while this hat does not have any wire, the rim of the hat is perfectly firm where it is bendable enough to easily trnsport when not wearing...but it stays put when wearing and does not flop down. I actually had to buy this hat for my 5 year old daughter who scraped up her face terribly in a bike fall. We didnt want her face to scar from sun exposure, but we also live by Lake MI and didnt want her to be deprived of the summer fun as she was recovering. Well this hat was absolutely perfect! Seriously! It fits perfectly with adjustments available around both the head and the chin. It is super lightweight and ventilated all around the top of her head so it isnt too hot. And its adorable! She instantly became incredibly responsible on her own about wearing it---never leaving the house without it---because its so comfortable and pretty. One of the best purchases Ive made for her, honestly!

These are the best hats for babies and toddlers… we just moved our 3yo out of the size Small (18-24mo) into a Medium. They last forever, are easy for kids to keep on, and provide great sun coverage. Price was great and shipping was fast!

I have this sun hat at home and I bought it again as a second hat to keep at my toddlers preschool. They take the kids out twice a day to play in their playground which has little shading. This sun hat has made all the difference. Hes two years old and wears it without any complaints. Super light and comfortable.

I love these hats. I have matching ones for my girls and now just bought this one for my son. My daughter has head hers for 3 years. I wash it and they were it daily in the summer.

I got this Sunday Afternoons Kids Fun Bucket hat in royal blue size Large for my son. He’s 3 years old with a big head ~21.25”. The size large fits perfectly without having to tighten the sizing feature down at all. I wish there was more growing room, since I could’ve tightened down the hat if needed. This hat is so cute on him, and he loves the royal blue. The wide brim gives great sun protection and the strip of gray mesh fabric allows for some air flow, so he doesn’t get quite as sweaty. The strap only detaches on one side, so if you didn’t want a strap for some reason, you’d have to tuck it up inside the hat on the kids head. But since it’s windy here and he is constantly running, the strap is perfect for my kid. He has worn the hat all summer. It’s been washed a couple times and still looks brand new. I highly recommend this hat!

My 3 year old loves this hat. It’s comfortable and keeps the sun out of their eyes. I will definitely get it again when they need to size up!
