This is a sturdy good quality product that I would trust for use with the installation of a child car seat. No rough edges to damage the seat belt. Strong enough to use without worrying if its good enough to trust it will work for critical applications like keeping your children safe. Unfortunately, I cant say the same thing for the car seat I bought. It is just poorly designed and wont work even with these car seat belt clips. If you need clips like this, this is the way to go!

We have an older car; the seatbelts lock and are safe, but they don’t tighten enough around the car seat (Safety 1st brand), to secure it, and we do t have a LATCH system. I even had the local police check the car seat installation. They told me they are trying to do away with the locking clips for car seats. However! Without the clips, we would not have been able to pass the inspection. The officer ended up having to use them after about 45 min of trying to secure the car seat without the clips. Please don’t discontinue these items! People don’t understand that not everyone can just up and buy a new car when they have a baby.

These clips are easy to use and I can put them on as I drive. They can be used by adults and children.

What I disliked was the ease of adjusting it for different size users. I like the fact that it metal and strong, however I wonder how hot it will get in the summer Arizona desert heat.

I bought these to help my very tiny mother. Her seat belt rubbed her neck and even the side of her face. This lock keeps the belt tight and across her chest.

Good fit

Strong and easy to use. I didnt think Id need two but now I keep one in my purse in case we are in a different car. I will always be able to keep my grandson safe no matter whos car were in!

Hard to put on and move -

Sooo much better than the cheap plastic clips that break or just flip and disconnect. Im a single driver and once connected they are in place to stay, so not so easy to reposition for different drivers. I had to reorder because I gave original ones to family members who were not wearing seatbelt due to neck or shoulder discomfort with the belt. Now we are all safer.

Very sturdy clips and they stay in place not only while driving, but also when you unbuckle, they stay where you placed them.
