Supco MO44 Rust Buster Liquid Penetrating Oil

This product didnt work for my situation. I went by the instructions and it didnt work.

I dont know what I was expecting, maybe a miracle. I have a shower head thats been in place for 24 years. I couldnt BUDGE it with a wrench and vice-grips. I tried WD-40 twice, allowed time for it to soak in with no luck. Nearly busted my gut trying to loosen it. Nothing. I dont know whats in this Rust Buster but it seems more volatile (thin) than WD-40. I tried it twice, both times letting it flow in to the threads. Nothing. Doesnt bust anything. Worthless. I must say that I feel that this expensive product seems to be designed to separate nothing but me from my money.

But rust buster you could ever invest in.

Great product. Used it on the center assembly of our 11 year old washing machine. Unfortunately the locking nut had fused to the assembly below it. The Rust Buster liquid removed all the surface rust, but after six hours of pounding the wrench in the correct direction for this reverse-threaded nut, it would not separate, so I hacksawed it off. After that the repair was easy (though we never did fix the leak we were trying to get rid of, and wound up buying a new washer). At the end I was disappointed but realized the rust buster wasnt the problem - it actually made the whole assembly clean and rust free.

Bottle is half, of the liquid and looks used , you cannot return this , so be aware if you buy it

Bought this because of frozen prop shaft stuff box and within less than a hour I was able to easily break apart the the nut from the shaft housing. I give it an A+

You can buy in the aerosol spray, but I find this works better as s soaker when you need to use judicially.

I like this stuff , it really works good if you have time to leave it sit overnight has saved me many times from drilling.

Looks like just water! Cant tell if it works or not
